MBTI: …and the Movies
If you know me, you know I’m all about the Myers Briggs Personality Assessment. Some of you know this too well and are actually annoyed by it. How someone could be annoyed by me is a mystery, but hey, there it is. Movies, on the other hand, are a very obvious love of mine and almost since I’ve started this site, I’ve been thinking of a way to bring Myers Briggs in.
Now I’ve got it.
Whether or not anyone will understand this is a different story, but I’m only one man; my interests and yours will only coincide so much. If you don’t know what the MBTI is, here’s a link explaining, while everybody else just look below. It’s so accurate in it’s categorizing of personalities that if a good character should fall right into place with one of the sixteen provided.
But I didn’t go by the characters in the movies’ type as much as I did the overall tone and style of the chosen film.
By the way, I’m all about disagreement and this list is just for the heck of it. I tried to find a happy medium between male/female movies but some types are just predominantly the “other” sex and that’s just how it goes sometimes. So sorry if you’re a guy and Terms of Endearment (1983) is your movie. Lemme know if you’ve got a better one. Can you tell I grew up in the 90’s?

I challenge you to type the Star Wars Saga.

Challenge: accepted! Sort of. I plan on doing several Star Wars characters over time, as so many merit their own post as opposed to something like Regular Show where it can be quick and simple.
Though if you’re looking for an idea of each character, MBTI Truths has a list.

I don’t agree with all of them but he’s open to debate and has got some interesting typing choices all around. Worth looking at, if you’re not already familiar.
