I’ve been holding off on this one for a while. It’s not that I love Iron Man so much I knew I had to wait for an oh-so-special moment; but rather his type is pretty obvious and I wouldn’t be telling you anything you don’t already know.

But that doesn’t mean we won’t have fun with this one either. C’mon everybody, follow meEeEEe weeeee- Continue reading

Been thinking on this one for a while now. Every time a power hungry character is to be typed, types with heavy Te come to mind. But if the character has/gets too much power, it’s possible for them to become impossible to type.

Take Lucy for example. Of the movie, uh, Lucy. Though she starts off a party girl (Presumably ESFP of course), the more her entire brain is being put to use (Bwahahaha) the less you could say she retains her personality because she’s becoming a living computer. By the end, you wouldn’t say she’s INTJ or something because she didn’t evolve into a better type, she transcended type all together.

Well, that’s not what the following is. The following is a collection of types and characters that are the most powerful yet still retain their personalities. Better yet, their powers are actually a great representation of their powers. Hold onto your butts. Continue reading

Analysis of Dinosaurus

Warning! Some spoilers ahead!

If you’ve looked over the more recent posts of the site, you’ve probably noticed I’ve gotten into Robert Kirkman’s Invincible comic. I can’t help myself, it’s just that good.

And one of the bigger characters to show up in issue #68 is Dinosaurus. Yes, you read that right probably. Similar to Marvel’s character The Lizard or Batman’s Manbat (Yep), Dinosaurus is a villain that goes from a somewhat innocent human then transforms into a giant animal of some kind. In this case, a dinosaur-like creature. Continue reading

MBTI: Britta Perry – ENFP

Every group needs a wild card, and while many people would argue for Troy or Abed, I have to cast my vote for Britta Perry. Few people in the group are as bold, practical, and original as Britta.

Whether she is coming back to the study group wearing the same clothes as the day before asking how long peyote lasts, or living homeless on the front lawn of Greendale, Britta chooses to see life as something that needs to be lived and the study group needs to know about it! Continue reading

Movie Review: Ex Machina

machina

Stars: Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Alicia Vikander, Sonoya Mizuno, Corey Johnson,

Rated R for for graphic nudity, language, sexual references and some violence, 108 minutes, Drama/Sci-fi

Compare to: Blade Runner (1982), Her (2013)

Notice how there haven’t been many movie reviews lately? They should stop releasing such sucky movies so often. If I’m elected president, I vow to to only have good movies released during my reign of terror.

Had I been ruling with an iron fist at the current time, Ex Machina would definitely be getting its release. Though it may be too slow for those looking for a fast-paced Action/Sci-fi blowout, Ex sets its tone, keeps to it, and you really won’t be able to guess what will happen next. Continue reading

MBTI: Abed Nadir- INTP

What makes Abed the most obvious INTP, and possibly the only one on the show, is the fact that INTPs do not concern themselves with day-to-day activities. The only reason Abed ever opens up as much as he does is because the group accepted him as he was and allowed him to become comfortable inside that study room.

Once they opened up their hearts and minds for Abed, there was no longer a threshold for how much energy Abed would expend on solving problems no one else in the group could.  Continue reading

MBTI: Unwritten Rules of MBTI

There’s a lot of crap to research when it comes to MBTI. And I do mean crap. There’s so much to wade through and if it’s not your own misunderstanding of this stuff, it’s someone outright misleading us. It’s understandable to not know everything because nobody does.

But there’s a few things to avoid when first getting into MBTI that anybody could benefit from, regardless of how much they know but newcomers are especially prone to.

I’m not new to it, but I am guilty of these. Continue reading

MBTI: Jeff Winger- ENTP

Written by Bryce Waller!

Dan Harmon, creator of Community, based the character Jeff Winger on himself. A narcissist with a great admiration for independence realizes the benefits of a group of close friends, or a community.

*No, the show was not titled after the fact that the group attends a community college.* Continue reading

MBTI: Han Solo- ISTP

The new trailer is out as well as the first Battlefront ad, and maybe because of it I’ve been asked by several people (maybe they know each other) to post the rebel without a cause, Han Solo himself.

Often typed as ESTP, you can see the clear difference upon meeting Lando, who plays sleazy to Solo’s careless attitude. The longer the series goes on, the more you can see him going from cool and cocky to caring…who is also still cool and cocky. Continue reading

Greatest Rivalries- Daredevil and Bullseye

As for the last entry of Unintentional Daredevil Week, I’d like to point out a major character that got no love in the Netflix series, yet is undoubtedly a fan favorite. I’m not complaining that Bullseye didn’t make an appearance or even get a mention; there’s no need to rush things.

But all the same, since I’ve been on the topic, it’d be cool to go over what makes Daredevil and Bullseye such great enemies. I’ve boiled it down to three main reasons. Continue reading
