MBTI: Simba- ENFP

simba5

Everybody’s favorite lion other than Mufasa is whaaa…Not an ENTJ or ESTP? This is one screwed up lion.

Curious and adventurous, Simba sees life in a way that few others do. Not in what is, not in what was, but what they want it to be. Everybody has fantasies of what their life should be but few live their lives running from one possibility to the next with no thoughts of security in mind. Well…maybe in the back of their mind. MBTI: I don’t dislike INTJs. Or INFJs, or INFPs…

I don’t get much mail compared to say, however much mail a more popular internet personality probably gets (Let’s say a million letters a day) but I get enough to start forming an opinion about who’s reading my stuff. A few months ago, somebody more popular than me posted the Brutally Honest Profiles post and the view counter has shot up and stayed higher ever since, which is cool.

And it’s also expected that with more people reading, you’re just going to have more people who don’t like what you’re saying or how you’re saying it, which is fine. But let’s clear some stuff up. Continue reading

MBTI: Tropic Thunder

tropic

One of the most quotable movies pretty much ever, Tropic Thunder is a comedy I always think I’m sick of until I watch it again. Then the madness starts and I have to go through the whole thing. It’s not even a choice.

I remember people standing outside of the theater telling us not to watch the movie because it was promoting hatred. Then we were all thinking “Well, we’ve GOT to see it now.” The moral of these last two sentences is that trying to ruin something won’t work if you make it appear edgy and offensive. MBTI: Nightwing- ENFJ

Batman’s adopted son/partner-in-anti-crime, master gymnast, the first Robin, and with a whole list of other achievements, Dick Grayson’s biggest feat is his ability to deal with the ugly side of Gotham and still keep a smile on his face as Nightwing. No, actually it’s being numero uno on Top 50 sexiest male characters in comics. Suck it, number 46!

From Gotham to NY and Bludhaven and back to Gotham, Grayson’s sense of humor and love of people have gotten him out of some pretty bad situations. The ENFJ you know may be the same way, as their habit of stubbornly knowing what’s the best for others can be as frustrating as Batman’s own stubbornness to do his own thing. Difference is, ENFJ has people skills. Hey-ooo- Continue reading

MBTI: Game of Thrones’ Houses

It’s always interesting, the idea that your lineage would have a symbol for them and you. What would yours be? Everybody would like to think it would be as awesome as a wolf or dragon but somebody’s got to end up with an open palm holding flower petals right?

Well this isn’t giving a sigil to types but typing the houses already in play in Game of Thrones. What are the proud Lannisters and the secluded and stubborn Greyjoys? See if you agree. Continue reading

MBTI: Margaery Tyrell- ENFJ

Spoilers! You’ve been warned!

We need more NF love on this site, don’t we? I mean, sure, every other site like this one is run by an NF woman that claims every other character as NF, but that doesn’t mean I should be so neglectful. Truth is, as you could probably tell, most of the stuff I watch is all about SP heroes taking down NT villains. And throw in some SJ authorities cleaning up the messes. Sorry SJs.

But sticking to the subject, the Tyrells are an interesting family to throw into the GoT world, even without Margaery; her brother, father, and grandmother all lend a certain lighthearted style to their scenes and the sigil of a rose definitely stands out from wolves, stags, lions and dragons.

But the most unique aspect with Margaery herself is that every time we think we’re going to see her go back on her word or do something as despicable as the majority of the other characters would do…she does the opposite. Continue reading

MBTI: Ex Machina

Spoilers ahead!

I have no choice but to know this is going to be, at the very least, on my Top 10 of the year. With how little has come out that I actually care about, Ex Machina was like an oasis in the desert. Could I see some people being bored by it? Yep. The three people I was in the theater with all were.

But they couldn’t deny it was good.

So here are the types of the few characters there were. It’s always funny to see what types are present as well as missing and how that changes the tone of the film. No Guardians, the show is probably very flexible, maybe a lot of action, no Idealists and people’s morals get flexible, all that good stuff. See what you get from this. Continue reading

MBTI: Vision- INFJ

For all the characters claimed to be INFJ, this is what an actual INFJ hero looks like…in fiction of course. The living android has got a list of impressive powers but none are more impressive than a robot that seems to have more humanity in him than most characters in the Marvel universe, comics or film.

One thing about the INFJ is that they have a weird way of being able to blend in, yet never really blending in. Do you know what I mean? No? I’ll explain. Continue reading

MBTI: The Strongest of Them All

Been thinking on this one for a while now. Every time a power hungry character is to be typed, types with heavy Te come to mind. But if the character has/gets too much power, it’s possible for them to become impossible to type.

Take Lucy for example. Of the movie, uh, Lucy. Though she starts off a party girl (Presumably ESFP of course), the more her entire brain is being put to use (Bwahahaha) the less you could say she retains her personality because she’s becoming a living computer. By the end, you wouldn’t say she’s INTJ or something because she didn’t evolve into a better type, she transcended type all together.

Well, that’s not what the following is. The following is a collection of types and characters that are the most powerful yet still retain their personalities. Better yet, their powers are actually a great representation of their powers. Hold onto your butts. Continue reading

MBTI: Britta Perry – ENFP

Written by Bryce Waller!

Every group needs a wild card, and while many people would argue for Troy or Abed, I have to cast my vote for Britta Perry. Few people in the group are as bold, practical, and original as Britta.

Whether she is coming back to the study group wearing the same clothes as the day before asking how long peyote lasts, or living homeless on the front lawn of Greendale, Britta chooses to see life as something that needs to be lived and the study group needs to know about it! Continue reading
