Days Of Future Past: Queries and Problems

While many make the argument that comic book movies need no plot consistency due to the source material’s lack thereof, I say two things; One- you don’t read comics, do you? There are plot devices used over a period of fifty to sixty years sure, but these are two hour movies with millions of dollars put into them. Show some respect!

And two- Why are you arguing for lack of consistency, period? These holes are so big you might as well fit another trilogy in them!

In any case, I’ve found this mega-hit to be full of plot holes and convenient plot devices that are so obvious, Ben Affleck’s Daredevil could see them.It’s not that they’re all holes but also some questions that would have made the movie more sensible. Some Mild Spoilers Ahead!

You might hate me for it, but I’m going to be “that guy” for a post. It’s not that I want to be, but I think it’s called for.

With the new X-men movie raking in the moolah and garnering praise from critics and audiences alike, it seems that the Bryan Singer train isn’t likely to stop anytime soon and that’s unfortunate. Why would should they reboot a franchise that’s doing so well financially as of this last movie anyway?

Everyone’s favorite underdog and star of one of the worst movies of all time is unsurprisingly, also the Action staple of personality types: Cold, dangerous, and with a plethora of dead girlfriends in his wake.
