I’ve got one more Harry Potter post on the way, you should get a kick out of it. And by get a kick out of it, I mean you might be mildly pleased and then immediately move on.

From The Thing to Baymax, Allen the Alien to Superman, Hagrid seems to fit right into the functions of dominant Fe/auxiliary Si in a way that has him living day-to-day, taking care of those around him. You’d think a half-giant living in a world of magic would be doing more with himself (whatever that might be) but when you’ve got everything you need, why get greedy? Continue reading
MBTI: Hero Typing Tropes

Though I guess any writer who knows how to bring in the readers would have made it sound like both of those posts just to get everybody. But that ain’t me.
If you’ve come here enough, you’ve seen links to what has to be one of the greatest sites on the internet, TV Tropes. Yes, even better than BubbaliciousBlackBubbleButts.com. If that’s a real site, I had no idea. And from TV Tropes and Typing, can come the realization that every type fits well within the confines of some of the many sorts of heroes fiction can bring us. So while we’ve described how each type is represented in the Hero mold, let’s reverse this to see how the Hero mold can fit certain types.
If you see the name, there is a link to it. Continue reading
MBTI: C-3PO- ESFJ
Posted in MBTI Guardians, MBTI Stuff with tags C-3PO, esfj, mbti in fiction, star wars on 09/01/2015 by McCutcheonTake a look at those random letters of a title, eh?
Though he gets pegged as an ISFJ a lot, Threepio’s main function is to please, and he does this by doing and saying whatever his masters want him to do right then. None of that was meant to be sexual. But for an ISFJ, a lot of characters tell him to shut up quite a bit, don’t they? I’m seeing dominant Fe. Continue reading
MBTI: The Strongest of Them All

Every time a power hungry character is to be typed, types with heavy Te come to mind. But if the character has/gets too much power, it’s possible for them to become impossible to type.
Take Lucy for example. Of the movie, uh, Lucy. Though she starts off a party girl (Presumably ESFP of course), the more her entire brain is being put to use (Bwahahaha) the less you could say she retains her personality because she’s becoming a living computer. By the end, you wouldn’t say she’s INTJ or something because she didn’t evolve into a better type, she transcended type all together.
Well, that’s not what the following is. The following is a collection of types and characters that are the most powerful yet still retain their personalities. Better yet, their powers are actually a great representation of their powers. Hold onto your butts. Continue reading

Guy knows his animals.
*Additional animals posted on 4/14/15
Everybody loves animals except people who don’t. With that in mind, I’ve seen a lot of charts and articles relating MBTI types to specific animals. They’re good at times but something is missing from them. And that something is the Zombies Ruin Everything touch.
If there’s one thing better than know MBTI, it’s movies. If it’s not movies, it’s music. If it’s not that, then somewhere down the line is animals which is how we’ve reached this point in my post. Now that the intro is out of the way, let’s get to it. Continue reading
MBTI: Allen the Alien- ESFJ
Posted in MBTI Guardians, MBTI Stuff with tags Allen the Alien, comics, esfj, Invincible, mbti in fiction on 04/02/2015 by McCutcheonThere are more prominent characters in Invincible but Allen is too cool and I haven’t done a full ESFJ post since November so chamon, let’s do this.
One thing you’ll notice since Allen’s first appearance is that he’s really nice. Not just, “Hmm, he seems like a nice guy” but more like he gets punched in the face and responds with a “Wow, you hit really hard!” Even in space, you can’t get away from them. Those ESFJs. They’re so nice I hate them. Continue reading
MBTI: Danger 5
Posted in MBTI Artisans, MBTI Guardians, MBTI Stuff with tags Danger 5, esfj, estj, ESTP, isfp, istp, mbti in fiction on 03/09/2015 by McCutcheonIf you haven’t heard of Danger 5 then you’re as stupid as I was three days ago. Alright, maybe not that dumb. But still pretty stupid.
Based on classic men’s magazines that featured strong white men killing a lot of animals and men from foreign countries, Danger 5 is a sort of parody of the spy genre of the 60s. International spies traveling around the world trying their hardest to kill Hitler, to be specific. My interest was piqued! Think Team America but with real people instead of puppets. I’ve posted a trailer below. Continue reading
MBTI: Cinematic Satans

Satanists, sure. But generally he makes for the baddest villain of all time and he’s got no one to love him. And I don’t mean “baddest” as in “cool,” I just mean BAD. Like evil. So it’s no wonder when he’s depicted in film, you know the stakes of the story are high.
Could the biblical Satan be typed? Probably not, seeing as how he’s more of a living force than a person. The Lucifer of Paradise Lost is usually typed as an ENTJ; dominating, leading type. And for some of the most famous on screen devils of all time? The answers probably aren’t too surprising. Continue reading
MBTI: The Groups as a Body

While I’ve got certain articles that are definitely reaching, I’d like to think most of the information I present clarifies what’s already been put forward, and does so in an entertaining, understandable, and informative way.
That being said, instead of relating the different groups to toasters or Wyoming, here’s one way to explain to your friends that just “have to know” about MBTI how the types differ by group. Associating different terms will be easier to remember when they’re paired with something you’re already familiar with. There’s not much to this, but that’s part of the point.
So here are the parts of the body that best fit each group, based on that part of the body’s function to the rest of it, as the groups and their role in society. Continue reading
