It’s been a long road for my gay, iced-up homey but me and he are just gonna have to call it quits. I hate to say it, he just doesn’t do it for me anymore. I’ve moved onto guys who KNOW how to use their sweet ice powers and set their aspirations higher than some pencil pushing accountant!

Marvel VS DC Movies

In the epic battle of what matters least, I have found that trying to figure out which multi-billion dollar studio produces the best comic book movie is dependent on how much freedom the creative and invested minds are given.

But let’s bypass all that and pretend it’s better because it’s Marvel. Or DC, whatever your poison.

Stars: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Djimon Honsou, Michael Rooker, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Benicio del Toro

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for some language, Running time 121 minutes, Action/Sci-fi/Adventure

Compare to: Star Trek (2009), Pacific Rim (2013)

When Guardians of the Galaxy was initially announced, it was met with as much excitement as it was confusion. “A movie from the Avengers people? Woo-hoo! It’s got a walking tree and a talking raccoon in it? Huh?”

But being based on the comics, the world is as weird as it is vast and with comic book movies being where the money is, there are only so many movies that are going to be released that bring the modern day mythological characters down to earth while looking up to the stars seems like the next step.
