MBTI: Horror Villains

Posted in MBTI Stuff with tags , , , , , , on 10/18/2012 by Taylor Holt

Halloween is on the way, so who better to type than the only characters in Horror movies that make them worth watching? Some characters are a little more obvious to type while a couple in there are a stretch, but they work.

If I missed anybody, let me know. ISFP was a tricky one but he was an artist in his previous life so that’s something. Is there any argument on what Jason is, regardless of the movie? Didn’t think so.

Here are some of the old school guys.

That’s just a quote from The Warriors I have stuck in my head. It has absolutely nothing to do with this video. Myers Briggs stuff.

Uh-oh! More Myers Briggs

Another MBTI video. If you’re any of the three types, ‘ave a go. Sometimes, I just can’t stop talking.

A Video that in No Way Involves Movies

This is me going off for a good eight minutes about a certain Myers Briggs type. Since, like the title states, it has nothing to do with movies I wasn’t going to post it but the Myers Briggs: Batman type listing I posted has gotten a pretty good bit a views, thought I might as well throw it on here. You can always count on Batman. Except that Robin who died. If nothing else, you can now see and hear, as well as read, how truly scatterbrained I am. And for good measure, another Myers Briggs listing.

MBTI: Batman and Company

If you read my Myers Briggs post correlating movies to their respective type, you know I’m a fan of MBTI. And seeing as how Dark Knight Rises was as great as we wanted it to be, I still feel the need to write about all things pertaining to it. Below are a list of characters, primarily villains, who fit into the MBTI types. One thing that’s so fun about Batman’s villains are the fact that each one is a different aspect of his personality. There’s a whole science to him, look it up.

Once again, if you have an interest in Myers Briggs, here’s a link. Last Batman post for a while I think. I’ve got a life, I swear.

Okay fine, I don’t.

MBTI: …and the Movies

Posted in MBTI Stuff with tags , , , , , on 06/11/2012 by Taylor Holt

If you know me, you know I’m all about the Myers Briggs Personality Assessment. Some of you know this too well and are actually annoyed by it. How someone could be annoyed by me is a mystery, but hey, there it is. Movies, on the other hand, are a very obvious love of mine and almost since I’ve started this site, I’ve been thinking of a way to bring Myers Briggs in.

Now I’ve got it.

Whether or not anyone will understand this is a different story, but I’m only one man; my interests and yours will only coincide so much. If you don’t know what the MBTI is, here’s a link explaining, while everybody else just look below. It’s so accurate in it’s categorizing of personalities that if a good character should fall right into place with one of the sixteen provided.

But I didn’t go by the characters in the movies’ type as much as I did the overall tone and style of the chosen film. Continue reading
